Important installation information
If the studs on the vehicle hub are longer than the thickness of the wheel Spacers the studs will need to be trimmed so they do not protrude past the thickness of the spacer & so the wheel can sit flush on the spacer face but, most aftermarket and even some OEM wheels have back pockets to accommodate the stud protrusions. In either case, below 1.5 inch thicknesses, stud trimming may still be required. It is not required for 1.75 inch and thicker. This set comes complete with a set of open end lug nuts stated above. Lots of people install these at home, but we always strongly recommend professional installation. Our wheel spacers and adapters are commonly used for multiple reasons, from eliminating wheel & tire rubbing against shocks and struts, clearing break calipers, & making room for larger tire clearance. All of our spacers and adapters come standard with heat-treated, hardened steel studs. Lastly we only use Aerospace grade 6061 T-6 Solid Billet Aluminum on all of our wheel spacers and adapters.
